Whisky Sailing Tour
Scotland
Aug - Sept 2025
Are you ready to embark on the ultimate adventure that combines the thrill of sailing with the magic of Scottish whisky heritage? Join us for a unique sailing experience that promises the voyage of a lifetime!
Picture yourself gliding through the crystal-clear waters of the Scottish coast, surrounded by breath-taking landscapes. Our sailing expedition to the whisky islands offers you a front-row seat to the scenic beauty of Scotland's shores.
Visiting the "whisky islands" is a whisky lover's dream come true.
You will have the opportunity to explore Islay's world-renowned distilleries (Laphroaig, Bowmore, Bruichladdich and many more), attend exclusive tastings, and savour the finest Scottish whiskies in the company of experts on fabulous tours.
A short sail away is the island of Jura which produces some of the most flavoursome "special" casks on offer. Voyaging via Arran we now have the option of visiting the Lochranza and the newly constructed Lagg distilleries.
Here is a sample of the exclusive Bruichladdich Ultimate Tour Package undertaken on 2024's festival tour.
“A two and a half hour guided walk around our Victorian distillery where you will learn about our history, our philosophy and how we make our three single malts (Bruichladdich, Port Charlotte and Octomore) and The Botanist gin.
We will then move to warehouse number six where you will have a unique opportunity to sample three of our finest expressions straight from from the cask. Each cask has been hand-selected by our Head Distiller, Adam Hannett. In addition, you will also have the chance to sample our Islay cask matured gin.
This experience includes sample bottles and a complimentary glass.”
Sailing in Scottish waters and covering distance will stretch our sailing, and will hopefully include some night sailing to boost confidence and experience under the watchful guidance of your skipper.
